Some Imponderable Perplexities and Conondrums: Who Knows?

Did Shakespeare in his historical Roman plays, and Dickens, Hugo, Balzac, Tolstoy and Dostoevsky ever attempt to fully resolve and solve the problem of retributivist, restorative, and distributive justice, without a Marxist-Communist Revolution?

All that may be left for the great legacy of the English and and Anlgo-American tradition is hybridity of these legal penal tradition in common law, and Due Process Law.
