A General "High Universal" Prayer by Bishop Lancelot Andrewes

This being of of our consolation, could it not be for all who are run down by anxiety, aggrieved, afflictied, oppressed, ill, whether in body or spirit, or not at peace:

"I hand over to your care, Lord,
my soul and body,
my mind and thoughts,
my prayers, and hopes,
my health and my work,
my life and death,
my parents, and family,
my friends, and neighbors,
my country, and all men [persons]
Today and always."

Amen!

---Bishop Lancelot Andrewes, a Catholic of the Church of England
